Yes, SteelTown Bar Services and all employees are insured and will provide a certificate of insurance when requested. We carry a General Liability Aggregate limit of $2 million as well as a Liquor Liability aggregate limit of $2 million.
25% of the total quoted price is due at the time the contract is signed. This initial payment secures bartending services and necessary preparation for your specific event date. The initial payment is refundable no later than 45 days prior to your event. The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to the scheduled event. Payment for bookings, within 30 days or less of the event, are due in full when the contract is signed.
Yes, our contract outlines our cancelation policies. There are possible applicable fees associated with canceling, so please make sure you thoroughly read the contract and are ready to book when you sign. We are limited to the number of events we can do on any given day and when you book, we stop taking inquiries for your event date.
SteelTown Bar Services will retain the non-refundable retainer if your event is cancelled less than 45 days prior to your contracted event. No refunds will be issued for cancellation within 45 days of your contracted event. You may reschedule up to 1 year with at least 60 days advanced notice. Cancellations due to unsafe weather conditions and epidemics will be rescheduled where plausible.

No, we do not permit serving of any liquor without a mixer or ice. This is the rule at most venues as it is a liability issue. On a positive note, forgoing shots will also save tons on your liquor costs.
At this time we do not have the liquor license required to sell alcohol. We do carry $2 million in liquor liability insurance and $2 million in general liability insurance that many venues require for open bar service. STBS can however exchange tickets for drinks that are prepaid.
Of course! We can create mocktails for your special occasion be it a dry brunch, baby shower, children’s event, etc. Ask about it on our inquiry form located on the side of each page or on the Contact page.
We have coolers and cooling tubs that are filled with ice to ensure that your beverages remain refreshingly ice cold.
Unfortunately, no. Due to PA State laws we are unable to purchase the alcohol. The customer must purchase the alcohol before the event.
Yes! Let us take some of that weight off your shoulders. We can provide alcohol pick up for an additional fee. All you must do is contact your local providers, purchase the alcohol, and let them know that we will be picking it up for you!
All of our bartenders are RAMP certified and continue to work in the industry. Our bartenders are professional, super friendly, fun, and easy to work with!
Of course! Reach out and we will give you a good idea of how much alcohol you should order. These recommendations are based on averages. Since we do not know your guests personally nor do we know their exact consumption rate or preferences, there's no way for us to tell you exactly how much to purchase. We can only provide a recommendation or suggestion, but unfortunately not a guarantee. Please adjust accordingly based on your knowledge of your guests. Most stores will return unopened beverages with receipt if there are any leftovers. Please check the store’s return policies before purchasing.
